Lt Col Paul R. Quigley Jr. serves as the Branch Chief for Antiterrorism and Force Protection in the Security Forces Operations Divisions at Headquarters Air Force. After earning his bachelor of science in criminal justice/political science from the University of Massachusetts. He subsequently attended Troy State University and graduated with a master of science in international relations. Finally, he attended the University of Colorado and received a master of arts in counseling and leadership.
In his current assignment, Lt. Col. Paul Quigley oversees the development of integrated defense strategy and policy, especially in relation to potential terrorist threats. Moreover, he works extensively with sister services, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He also acts as the Air Force head of delegation to the Air and Space Interoperability Council Force Protection Working Group. Before assuming his current position, Lt Col Quigley was an air officer commanding the 40th Cadet Squadron at the United States Air Force Academy.
